FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
These answers explain how New York dispatch and Charlotte affiliate operators handle reservations, vehicles and quotes.
How is pricing calculated?
Hourly charter is estimated at $120 per hour for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for an S-Class and $240 for a Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum. Those three-hour estimates are $360, $440, $690 and $710. Waiting during the reserved hourly block is included; overtime is billed under the quote. One-way transfers are written from your pickup, destination, vehicle, date and any agreed stops. Quoted prices include chauffeur gratuity and applicable service and card fees. Tolls, parking and airport fees are confirmed on the quote.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation, wait and refund terms are on the written quote and can vary by vehicle class and travel date. Review those terms before you confirm the reservation. Contact New York dispatch to change or cancel.
Do you track flights?
Ask for flight tracking on the reservation and include the airline and flight number for CLT or Concord-Padgett arrivals. If the flight number or airport changes, tell dispatch. Wait time and delay coverage follow the terms on your quote.
What is meet-and-greet service?
Meet-and-greet means the chauffeur meets you with a name sign at the location listed on your confirmation. That may be inside the terminal or at a curb the assigned operator is instructed to use. It is available at Charlotte Douglas and, when it fits the arrival type, at Concord-Padgett. Curbside pickup is also available. Ride-app and parking-shuttle stops are different airport modes.
Do you provide child seats?
Request a child seat when you book and include the child's age or seat type. Availability depends on the assigned vehicle and operator, so we confirm the seat with the reservation rather than treat it as a standing guarantee.
Is gratuity included?
Yes. Quoted prices include chauffeur gratuity and applicable service and card fees. You are not asked to add an extra percentage at the curb. Tolls, parking and airport fees are confirmed on the quote. On hourly charter, waiting during the reserved block is included.
Do you offer corporate accounts?
Yes. Ask for billed-account setup, reference numbers and invoicing cadence when you book. We can note recurring routes and passenger details. The same chauffeur is a preference to request, not a guaranteed assignment.
What areas do you cover?
We arrange cars in Uptown, SouthPark, Dilworth, NoDa, Ballantyne, Myers Park, Plaza Midwood and Lake Norman. Regional trips to Raleigh, Greensboro, Spartanburg and Winston-Salem are quoted from the addresses you provide. Coverage uses vetted local affiliate operators. All pickups are prearranged.
What vehicle types are available?
Planning classes are sedan 3 passengers and 3 bags, SUV 6 and 6, S-Class 3 and 3, and Sprinter 12 and 12, subject to the assigned configuration. More than 12 passengers or 12 bags needs a coordinated quote. Confirm amenities, child seats and accessibility on the assigned vehicle.
Can I book hourly charter?
Hourly charter keeps a chauffeur and vehicle for meetings, dinners or multi-stop days. You pay the displayed hourly estimate with a three-hour minimum. A one-way airport or point-to-point transfer does not inherit that minimum. Route changes during an hourly block are allowed within the booked time and the quote terms.
Are your drivers vetted?
Charlotte affiliate chauffeurs are expected to hold the licensing and insurance required for passenger transport. Dispatch sets reservation standards from New York; local affiliates supply the cars and chauffeurs. Specific screening records, background-check details and inspection logs are not published here. Ask if you need documents for a corporate account.
How do I make a reservation?
Use the online reservation form or call New York dispatch. Provide pickup date, time, address, destination, flight details if applicable, passenger and bag counts and any access needs. We confirm the vehicle class, chauffeur details and total price before the trip. An inquiry is not a confirmed booking.
Still Have Questions?
Dispatch can review your itinerary. Affiliate coverage, vehicle class and quote terms are confirmed on the reservation.
