Uptown loading zones are short and one-way streets are common. A sedan fits typical rolling bags. Golf clubs, sample cases and extra luggage usually need an SUV. Groups above sedan capacity should plan an SUV or a Sprinter (12 people and 12 bags, subject to configuration). Hotel garages and office decks have their own height and loading rules; give any garage instruction you have from the building.
Airport access and booking notes
CLT is about seven miles west of Uptown. Typical midday driving is often 15 to 25 minutes via Billy Graham Parkway, I-85 or I-77. Morning rush and stadium nights can add time around Brooklyn Village Avenue and Mint Street. CLT airport transfers are quoted from your hotel or office entrance. Hourly charter is estimated at $120 / $150 / $230 / $240 with a three-hour minimum; one-way transfers do not inherit that minimum.
A short ride of a few blocks can take much longer at 5 p.m. Book hourly if you have several stops. Same-day coverage depends on affiliate availability.
