What a point-to-point transfer is

A point-to-point transfer is a single, reserved ride from one address to another: a house in Myers Park to a SouthPark office, a Ballantyne hotel to a restaurant in Dilworth, an Uptown tower to a home on Lake Norman, or a Charlotte pickup to a hotel door in Raleigh. New York dispatch arranges the ride through vetted local affiliate operators, and the price is written before you confirm.

Transfers are the right fit when you only need to get somewhere. If you want the car to wait while you are inside, or you have several stops in a row, hourly charter is usually simpler.

How a transfer is priced

Each transfer is quoted from five things: the pickup address, the destination, the vehicle class, the date and time, and any stops you agree in advance. There is no hourly minimum on a one-way transfer. The quoted price includes chauffeur gratuity and applicable service and card fees, and it states the wait and cancellation terms that apply. Tolls, parking and airport fees are confirmed on the quote rather than added at the curb.

A return trip is its own transfer. It is quoted separately because pickup time and traffic differ, and it is not assumed to match the outbound price.

Stops and waiting

A quick stop on the way, such as collecting a colleague, can be built into the quote if you list it when you book. The wait included in a transfer is the wait written on that quote. Anything longer is billed under the quote terms, which is why a day with long waits is better booked by the hour.

Choosing a vehicle

Plan three passengers and three bags in a Business Sedan or Mercedes S-Class, six and six in a First Class SUV, and up to twelve and twelve in a Sprinter, subject to the assigned configuration. Golf clubs, sample cases and extra bags usually need an SUV. Compare classes on the fleet page, and see rates for the hourly table.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum for a one-way transfer?

No. The three-hour minimum applies to hourly charter only. A one-way transfer is quoted from the itinerary.

Is the return the same price as the outbound?

Not automatically. Each leg is quoted separately because pickup time and traffic differ.

Can I add a stop on the way?

Yes, if you list it when you book so it is written into the quote. Longer waits are billed under the quote terms.

What does the transfer price include?

Chauffeur gratuity and applicable service and card fees. Tolls, parking and airport fees are confirmed on the quote.

When should I book hourly instead?

When the car needs to wait while you are inside, or when you have several stops in a row. Hourly charter has a three-hour minimum and includes waiting inside the block.
