Reading the route guide
The times below are typical midday drives. Weekday peaks, roughly 7:00 to 9:00 AM and 4:30 to 6:30 PM, Uptown event nights and race weekends in Concord all add time, and the chauffeur uses live traffic on the day. Every route is a one-way transfer quoted from your exact addresses, vehicle class and date; returns are quoted separately. If you want the car to wait at the other end, book hourly charter instead.
Airport routes
The six airport routes start at Charlotte Douglas, about seven miles west of Uptown. Include the airline and flight number so dispatch can request tracking, and follow the meeting location on your confirmation; curbside pickup is standard and meet-and-greet is available on request. Each route page covers the corridor, the likely slow points and what to put on the reservation for that destination.
Intercity routes
Raleigh, Greensboro and Winston-Salem lie northeast along I-85, and Spartanburg lies southwest across the South Carolina line. These trips suit travelers who want to work or rest on the way, groups who would otherwise split between cars, and anyone carrying luggage or display material. Name the building, hotel door or campus lot at the far end, not only the city.
What to send for any route
- Pickup address and entrance, and the time you need to arrive.
- Destination address and entrance.
- Passengers and bags, including golf clubs, cases or requested child seats.
- Any stop on the way, and whether you need the return quoted now.
