Charlotte Douglas International Airport car service is a reserved sedan, SUV, S-Class or Sprinter arranged by New York dispatch through vetted local affiliate operators. Include pickup, destination, vehicle class, passenger and bag counts, travel date and your airline and flight number. A delayed landing stays a transfer unless you book hourly because you want the car held.
CLT sits west of Uptown off Josh Birmingham Parkway. Typical midday driving to Uptown is often 15 to 25 minutes; I-77, I-85 and I-277 traffic can add time around weekday rush and Uptown events. Hourly charter is estimated at $120 per hour for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for an S-Class and $240 for a Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum. Those three-hour estimates are $360, $440, $690 and $710. One-way airport transfers do not inherit that minimum. How pickup works at Charlotte Douglas
Charlotte Douglas publishes mode-specific ground transportation. Personal vehicles may use the cell phone lot, then the lower-level Arrivals curb for an immediate pickup; unattended cars can be towed. Ride-app pickup is on the Departures / Ticketing level, upper inner lanes, Zones 1-3. Airport parking shuttles serve parking decks and lots, not Uptown hotels. Hotel courtesy vans depend on that hotel. CATS Sprinter is a public bus to the Charlotte Transportation Center, not a private Mercedes van.
Limousines, sedan and shuttle or van services at CLT are available by pre-arrangement between the passenger and the provider. Follow the meeting location, vehicle description and chauffeur contact on your confirmation. Assigned operators use the instructions for that reservation. Meet-and-greet inside the terminal is available when you request it and the confirmation lists it.
CLT consists of one terminal connecting five concourses (A through E). The airport says there are no trams or shuttles between gates; all gates are under one roof. Hourly Deck parking uses skybridges from Level 5 and underground walkways from Level 1 elevator lobbies.

Planning limits are sedan 3/3, SUV 6/6, S-Class 3/3 and Sprinter 12/12, subject to assigned configuration. Golf clubs, sample cases and extra bags usually need an SUV. Panthers games at Bank of America Stadium, Hornets and concerts at Spectrum Center at 333 East Trade Street, NASCAR weekends at Charlotte Motor Speedway and golf weeks around Quail Hollow add curb and highway time.
